Metals and Allergy Info

Many people have allergies to metals, mostly nickle.

Most of our silver rings are "Stainless Steel", and contain 5-10% nickle. In most cases we can change them to aluminum which contains no nickle. (Yay!)

Almost all of our colored rings are "Anodized Aluminum" anodizing adds an oxide layer (no nickel)

Most of our metal clasps are made with nickle plating (bracelets, necklaces, and scale collars) However we also have plastic clips available on request.

All Ridgeback collars come with a plastic buckle by default

Other metals can be special ordered, including: Copper, Bronze, Titanium, Niobium, Silver, and Gold
